This image shows some type of vine or brush growing out the counterweight cables on the I-5 Interstate Bridge that crosses the Columbia River between Portland, Ore., and Vancouver, Wash.

The original shot was composed from the Vancouver Land Bridge today. Ironically, plants grow on the Vancouver Land Bridge, but it’s designed to do so. A bridge counterweight, however, apparently not.
